The Nexus Hub

A global place to ask, exchange and belong.

The Hub brings learners, teams and practices into one thoughtful forum. Questions can travel beyond a single organisation, while insight returns to strengthen the people and places from which it came.

A forum with purpose

Conversation becomes part of the curriculum.

The Hub is where formal learning meets lived experience. Members can ask questions, share reflections, explore practice challenges and hear how the same issue is understood across roles, disciplines, cultures and countries.

Atlas helps people find relevant conversations, notice useful connections and carry insight back into their own context.

Governance and professional alignment

Built to work across healthcare, discipline by discipline.

Nexus is designed to align learning with relevant regulators, professional bodies, employers and health systems. Optical organisations such as ABDO and the AOP are potential contributors within one discipline. The wider model is intended for NHS, independent and multidisciplinary healthcare environments.

Frequently asked questions

What Nexus is building.

Is Nexus Academy only for optics?

No. Optics is the first route because it reflects the founder's professional background. The framework is being designed for healthcare teams across disciplines, settings and health systems.

Does Atlas replace professional judgement?

No. Atlas supports discovery, relevance and currency. Clinical, regulatory and organisational decisions remain human owned and subject to the correct governance.

Will content from professional bodies be included?

Only where its use is permitted. Nexus can link to public guidance, commission original learning and seek formal licences or partnerships. It will not present third party material as its own.

How is compliance kept current?

Atlas is intended to monitor approved sources and flag change for review. Published learning will retain source, date, jurisdiction and approval information.
